Cares of nursing to protect the patient of the errors in the medicine administration - evidenced based nursing practice

Abstract

The objective of this study is to establish a revision of main publications of the nursing literature, of last the 5 years, referring to the cares of nursing to protect the patient of the errors in the medicine administration. A computerized bibliographical research was become fullfilled, using the databases: Lilacs, Medline and PubMed. The results showed that for the phase of preparation of prescribed medicines, it is counted on professionals of superior level, nurses who, amongst its attributions, will have to be qualified in such a way for execution of this activity as for orientation, training and supervision of the technician and nurse aid in the performance of this activity. The conclusions are that the elaboration of a material for deepening and perfectioning of the nurse concerning the error of the medication, in the search of an assistance accomplishes and fast, on the basis of evidences presented for the client is important.
