The chronic renal client's perceiving about education in health received from the professional nurse of Dyalytic Methods and Transplant: a pratice based in evidences – Literature Review

Abstract


The rate of progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a reality in our present, and treatment in dialysis patients requires a range of limitations. The chronic renal emerges in context a number of doubts and concerns that will adversely affect treatment compliance and quality of life, and necessary information about the disease and the new process of living. The aim of this study was to identify the scientific production of nursing determining the best available evidence on the importance of education for patients with chronic renal failure, suggesting that the better informed the customer is, the more successful your treatment will be increased and their quality of life. This study is a literature manual and computer through the following databases: LILACS, BIREME, MEDLINE, from 2003 to 2008. Based on the studies can be seen that the education process is inadequate dialysis, renal patients are still living desperate situations due to lack of guidance and learning using the folk sector, professional or not specialized. In context the educational process is very important in the treatment dialysis, and that this study raises awareness about the nurse's role as an educator, not a prescriptive way, authoritarian, but a clear and objective way, with scientific support considering the degree of understanding and the particularities of each patient.
