Nursing care to patients submitted to cardiac surgery.

Abstract

The coronarian diseases occupy the first places, all over the world, between the main causes of morbi-mortality. The surgical intervention is the choice when there is no further resources to obtain the regression from the arterial clogging. Nursery improves continuously its knowledge and adopting new methods for assistance, through the proceedings that had confirmed their efficiency, to be done by the nurses in the pre-, peri- and post-operatory periods. This is a bibliographic review that has the objective of identifying the proceedings and protocols actually employed by the nursery team that attends ICU patients submitted to cardiac surgery.
