Abstract


Abstract: An ischemic stroke or other disabling disease with risk is of paramount importance in the lives of patients and their family. The nursing assisting quality can eliminate or at least reduce the risk of iatrogenic diseases .The objective of this work is a literature review based on published articles, to identify the best technique for identifying neurological deficits in critically ill patients with or at risk of diagnosis of ischemic stroke. The research instrument used was a systematic search methods tested and proven effective to evaluate the risk and / or minimize sequel of a stroke as well as iatrogenic complications that may arise resulting from this pathology. Search for these items PICO strategy where necessary and helpful descriptors Keywords for this study was used.The results showed that the best method for this purpose is the scale NIHSS. The purpose of this is to assess the neurological deficits in patients with acute stroke to determine treatment and minimize iatrogenic , was also observed that assistance based on health education , covering the subject and also the family group in a multifactorial is a gain to minimize sequel and provide comfort to the patient . Conclude the importance of the nurse's role and his team to achieve noticeable results by developing techniques to minimize the consequences of a post ischemic stroke. Recommendations: early diagnosis and adoption of specific protocol in order to facilitate the development of significant therapeutic approaches to patients with ischemic stroke is recommended.
