Security and preparation of patient on discharge process of UTI: systematic review of literature for a clinical protocol

Abstract


The Goal was to support scientific literature that could bring evidence on actions that cooperate and enable safe behavior in the patient transition from hospital to discharge. In order to do that, a systematic and electronic literature search was used. The Data collection was preceded in virtual bases (LILACS, MEDLINE) and PubMed from May to October 2015. There were 20 pieces of literature listed that have been presented in systematized form. The discussions demonstrated the effectiveness of using clinical scales as predictors of customers in the discharge criteria and the use of cards as a way of demonstrating how to perform care in the home environment. In conclusion, even though features such as scales and cards are effective, professional clinical approach cannot be ruled out, as these instruments require careful evaluations before use.
