Practice of nursing in cases of renal transplantation - systematic review of literature

Abstract


The purpose of this article is to describe the nurse's office next to patients undergoing kidney transplantation. Based on the review of current literature, the work discusses the care of patients with severe kidney disease, considering risks of contamination as well as guidance from nurses about the self. We used 18 articles in databases VHL (Mental Health) and Online Braz J Nurs (OBJN) published between the years 2004 to 2008, and selected 10 for analysis of similarities and differences between the approaches presented. This positioning has concluded that there is a consensus about the protocol of care initially consider the diagnosis in nursing then be defined interventions and actions that comprise the plan of assistance.
