WHAT IS THE BEST DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY FOR NURSING INTERVENTION IN SURGICAL WOUND CARE IN THE ICU? - SYSTEMATIZED LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract


This study aims to present the main evidences about the technologies used for the preservation and care of surgical wounds in an intensive care environment. The incidence of nosocomial infection in the surgical site of patients in the mediate postoperative period requires nursing intervention for the prevention and care of this patient. The Surgical Wound (ICNP® code: 10032863) in Intensive Care Units (ICU). Methodology: systematic literature review, with and the PICO strategy, with a search in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) platform in the following databases, LILACS, BDENF and MEDLINE, for the selection of scientific publications in Portuguese, English and English, from 2016 to 2021. Results: scientific findings highlighted the importance of care. Conclusion: technologies have a positive impact on the nursing work environment for the prevention and treatment of patients who need care for surgical wounds in the ICU, enhancing the facilitating and strategic capacity to effectively and efficiently reduce damage and injuries.
