What is the best digital technology for nursing intervention: anticoagulant therapy in critically ill patients - integrative literature review

Abstract


Objectives: The present work aims to reflect on nursing care and its importance in preventing complications in critically ill patients manifested in anticoagulant therapy. Method: This is a bibliographic review, carried out from August to November 2022. The search was carried out in the Virtual Health Library (VHL), in the following databases: LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Information Literature) Health Sciences), MEDLINE (Online Medical Literature Search and Analysis System) and BDENF (Nursing Database). The terms used were anticoagulant therapy, nursing, digital technology and critical care. Results: 158 articles were found, applying the inclusion and exclusion filters to a total of 11 articles. Conclusion: The present study highlights the role of the nurse in the complications and interventions of the anticoagulant therapy treatment and the minimization of signs and symptoms.
